On a computer monitor can you: watch local basic cable, play xbox 360, and use it normally?
I've been doing some research on if it's possible to do all these things on a computer screen. I have shaw high speed cable internet, and I don't mind switching a cable here and there.
I think the answer is an external tv tuner, however I don't know if my xbox 360 will connect to it, and play well enough. Also, i don't know if a slingbox is better. I have 5.1 surround sound speakers and i want to be able to use those while playing xbox 360.
Hopefully this makes sense, and someone can list the things i need, and if it's at all possible.
I have a new laptop with Vista OS. I would like watch & record TV on it. What could I buy to do this?

I do not want to get up at 3am so I can watch the games live. I want to be able to record them and watch them the next day. I have a house in the US that I can use, to set anything up that I need. I want something simple, easy to set up and easy to access from my computer. Slingbox sounds very complicated and I don't think it can record. I am not asking too much am I...? lol Any advice will help. I will be here in Manila for 2 years and I cannot miss anymore games. I am going nuts. Thanks!!!!!

Widescreen (16:9) programming burned on dvd in 4:3. How can I ‘stretch’ the 4:3 picture to 16:9 on a computer?
No problems on a tv...just change the aspect ratio. Slingbox can do it, but I can't figure out how to get it to stretch on any pc dvd player application (windows media player, divx, etc). Help!
Again. I'm looking for a PLAYER. The dvd's are already made.
