Question 1: I connect this to my only cable outlet in my house. Can Person A watch something on Channel 10 at home and Person B watch channel 20 on their laptop somewhere else in the world?
Question 2: If Question 1 is possible, is there a weakness in the picture quality if both Person A and Person B are watching the same channel?

EVDO, SPRINT BABY 200k, Edge is slow ATT, ATT isnt fast enough to do slingbox, dunno why ATT claims its fast cause it isnt, only sprint and verizon have EVDO!

a lot cheaper and easier to just get a tv tuner for your PC and mytinyTV but it’s damn cool to have have live TV on your phone isn’t it!

hey. i’ve just bought a slingbox and i have it connected to my treo 755p. i’ve noticed that mine is alot more choppy than yours. do you have wi-fi or edge or anything like that as well?

My pleasure! Despite the battery draw-back.. so long as you disconnect the phone from the network when you’re done surfing (under network options) the net or whatnot.. the battery can last a good deal! Good luck with it! its an awesome little phone!

Thanks… I’ve heard that Windows freezes and is unstable a number of times. I guess I’ll go pick one up this week. but yeah, thanks again.

Err- Sure. Windows OS freezes alot more than Palm’s.. at least from experience.. and it doesn’t always behave the way you want it to. Not saying Palm’s is perfect.. but still. The battery life on the 755 is slightly less than that of the older models. using connections it’ll last you three-four hours at most if you’re lucky. without.. it’ll last an entire day.

I don’t know if you would really like my opinion over the poster’s. But Palm’s OS is much better over Window’s. The only downside to the 755p is the battery life. It doesn’t last as long as the other phones. Otherwise its got to be one of the best phones i’ve had.
