u cannot record the TV programs direct on Ipod but try this out,
record the program in desktop, convert the audio & video file in to Mpeg4 format and sent to Ipod and enjoy the programs

What type of antenna gives good reception and is there a difference in the 20 dollar ones vs. the 50 dollar ones??

get digital because february 2009 they will make all tv be digital and you will have to get it anyway then

I would like to:
Create a podcast of minister's sermon.
Preferably, minister could have a lapel microphone.
I am willing to spend ~0-1000 for ipod, microphone, other equipment.
Speaker/Minister is not currently hooked into sound system or using a microphone.
Sound system and accessories should be easy to setup and store once a week.
Would be really cool if we had another microphone that could roam in a small room when people have questions to get those recorded as part of podcast.
Once podcast is created need an easy way to post those podcasts so that members can go download. If I could have a static url members access at the church web site that would link to a library of sermons (sorted by date and titles) that would be ideal.
I am moderately tech savvy. Examples, I have 3 ipods and use iTunes, I can setup my own router, I just setup my Slingbox last week, I generally like tinkering with technology and software products.

I am a big fan football/soccer fan, "Arsenal the gunners", but as you guys know most of the E.P.l games play on Saturday, that’s where the problem comes in I have to work on Saturdays, and i can’t take my TV with me, yes I have a slingbox but I don't have internet access at my job, and I work at a credit card so the restrictions are stiff. Is there a website that stream Premier league games? I don’t care whose playing.

ok im using my base station locationfree to stream the video from the ps3 to the psp the locationfree base station is kind of like a slingbox or something likr that but is from sony if you are a psp owner you can see on the mxb on network a icon called locationfree player is used to watch tv on your psp but you cant connect to it anything that streams video out guys google locationfree player i will be posting a new video on how a did it exactly i have a psp go now not the slim but still works the same you don't need a cfw or anything just a psp and a locationfree base station

I know that Apple is releasing the AppleTV sometimes next month, but as far as I know, it runs off Quicktime/iTunes...which means that there is no (easy) way to switch language tracks.
I have a lot of movies and TV shows on my computer (I'm running OS X) and I'd love to be able to watch them on my TV, rather than on my monitor.
I'm also not interested in something like Windows Media Center PCs, as that is too complicated for what I want to do. I'm looking for something simple and requires minimal effort to access.
I've seen things like Slingbox but, near as I can tell, that does the opposite of what I want.
Aside from AppleTV, are there any devices out there that enable me to send media from my computer's hard drive to be viewed on my screen?

I do this with my Tivo. Probably not what you are looking for.............. I copy all the DVDs I get via Netflix to my PC so I can watch them whenever. I use the Tivo menu to access my harddrive to play the movies.
I also do this with my video iPod with pod casts.
