DTV test
Looks like I'm DTV ready since I'm receiving a satellite signal, all is done. I expected a better "test" but rather than display useful information, the news crew just went about the last of the news with a weather forecast roundup. If I was receiving an analog signal, some "failed message" would have been displayed. It just differs from station to station but I'm really eager to see the big "switch" thrown & I'll be recording in analog & digital & combine both videos in to one. The uploaded video appeared to be over compressed due to a crappy Divx encoder that I havn't "worked out the bugs yet". The Video was obtained using my Slingbox & some video grabbing software then converted to the DIVX format.

I’m receiving a satellite signal (from DirecTV) to watch TV too! I was exercising in the health club when a DTV test took place in some number of Tampa (Florida) stations and all the TV sets in the venue are either hooked up to cable or satellite or have digital chips!
It’s excellent to know that we’re both prepared! =D

…..Well searching youtube for “directv hard drive” brought up my own video as the third result…. what, not relevant! I was looking on how to upgrade my dvr with a new harddrive, and somehow youtube throws my own video back at me… lol.
