I have this. And yes, it is sweet. I have a Treo 700w and was able to catch the playoff game at work. When the other guys wanted to watch it, I turned my phone into a broadband modem, plugged it up to my laptop and watched the game on that.

You see, this is not just a program, you need slingbox hardware which gives you the ability to reach the box from a distance over internet. Basically, you can connect any video/audio devices(in some models up to 4 devices maybe more) to the slingbox hardware even the ones with HD output. This not only for watching TV channels, simply reach your home media center, TV set or even bluray player and watch your favorite movies when you are mobile or from a friend house! Nice device!

they got software for the palm as well…its not just for windows media suites….slingbox is awesome.but iphone noobs are left out in the rain. higher prices dont mean better product…

nice, can i watch someone’s cable channels? i mean, if a friend of mine sets it up at his house, and if he gives me a copy of the software, can i watch it from whenever i am? will him be able to watch it as well? i’ll be glad if someone be able to answer my questions
