I have a new laptop with Vista OS. I would like watch & record TV on it. What could I buy to do this?

I've seen the slingbox and the pinnacle PCTV HD pro stick. Is one of these better than the other.

Go to Newegg.com and look over the tv tuners that work with USB. All of these work okay for basic television, but cable television is changing. Some channels are now high def on QAM 64 and others on QAM256. Whatever you buy could be obsolete soon.
