I need some tech savvy assistance!?
I'm trying to figure out what to get my boyfriend for Christmas. He's an I.T. guy and tends to stay way ahead of everyone when it comes to electronics. (You know, he has jailbroke iPhone, slingbox, etc.)
I really want to get him something he'll actually use. So far all I can think of is the powermat for his iPhone, bluetooth, etc. (does it work for PS3 controllers?) but I dont know if it even work like it says it does.
Please give me some ideas! If my idea is good then which one do I get?

The power-mat is not really worth it…
You need to buy these $40 magnet things for every thing you want to charge and they are very annoying…
And no It will not charge PS3 controllers…

If he has a PS3 and you want to get him something different … try the new “ps3 eyepet” not available in the U.S yet but can be imported if purchased on EBAY. Just make sure it’s compatible with our region. Ask before you buy. Must be NTSC not PAL unless your bf has a PAL based PS3.

You can get him a cool RTF RC helicopter ( RTF is short for Ready To Fly )

You may want to buy some extra batteries or the ones with higher capacity so he can fly it longer. Charger may come in handy too.
