I would like to install a slingbox in the US and watch TV abroad?
Question by M F: I would like to install a slingbox in the US and watch TV abroad?
I'm going to have my son in the US hookup a DVR and a slingbox to a cable connection in a spare room.
1. Will I be able to control the DVR over the internet from abroad?
2. Will I be able to watch TV from abroad
3. Do I have to have a TV hooked up as well?

if you get the slingbox pro this isnt a problem
yea as long as it is highspeed internet 756kbs+
no you will not need a tv since its not needed
also if you have a satellite or a cable connection you can watch this as well.as the dvr you can also record to the DVR from your slingbox
