Question by : Anyone have problems viewing their slingbox away from home?
I am having a doozy of a time remote viewing my slingbox. I can view it from home with no trouble but away, i can't connect. It keeps timing out. Besides changing ports and resetting, can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?
Sling community is a waste of time. I have tried asking my question there w/ no results. Sling technical support requires you to pay if you need help after 90 days. I figure it might be my router here on campus but how do I figure out if it is?

It might be that your router is not allowing outside access.
