Question by ro: Besides texting and calling, what else do you use your cell phone for?
I use mine for IM, appointments, address book, alarm clock, flashlight, games (solitaire and bubble breaker), email, internet, tv (via slingbox), calculator, camera, mp3 player, and voice recorder.
It's amazing how handy my cell phone is.
Would you be lost without yours? I wouldn't but I think using my laptop to make calls would be a little cumbersome. =P

I thought I was the only one to use it as a flashlight
I also use it for an alarm clock & camera since I tend to lose them (cameras)

I usually fiddle around with it when I’m waiting..or I have nothing else to do. It also serves as my alarm clock, reminder, and calculator.
I would be completely lost without it.

I use it for alarm clock, flashlight, calculator, appointments, notes, pictures, time keeper….and I think that’s it.

hmm.. I use it for music, it’s my alarm clock, and I have a million things stored on the calendar. I have doctors appointments and everything on there. I even have an alarm set for when a show I like is on at night. I miss it if I don’t set an alarm. I use it as a flashlight when I have to, but that’s not often. =)
Oh I forgot the camera and the calculator.

I agree it’s really handy. I noticed how not so many people worry about wearing watches anymore. My husband loves it, because I couldn’t make him wear a watch ever! He’s got a lot of hair on his arms, among other things.. so he hates wearing a watch.
I wouldn’t be lost without my cell phone, but I would definitely be more annoyed. I survived the pre-cell phones era just fine.
