Question by merlin: can slingbox stream from computer to TV or just TV to computer? ?
Looking at the Slingbox or one of the HAVA boxes but really looking for a way to stream stuff from computer or internet to TV.

nope just tv to computer. it works for being able to watch your tv while you are gone thru the internet. you still have to have cable or something. it allows you to view what you would if you had a tv. great for military if you go someplace and have internet but are away from home. or jobs that send you on tdy and the hotel you stay at only has aselect amount of channels or so you ca watch you cable and not some other places cable. being that a lot of times the channels are different.
why would you need to steam the other way. use your computer for that. you can hook up a computer to a tv monitor and watch that way. again though the slingbox is not for that purpose. it is so you can watch your own cable that you are paying for at home were ever you are at as long as you have a computer and internet
