Question by baseballman999: Is there a program that will stream a tv tuner card over a network?
I want to do what a slingbox does basically, but use software instead, and access it over the internet with my laptop. Any ideas?

Actually you can do this with Microsoft Media Encoder which is free (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx)

I do this all the time -- stream video to my Pocket PC so I can watch stuff all over the house (like the, um, reading room for example)
