i have researched thIs and i have seen the slingbox but I think i have to buy more than just one thing for that. I am looking for a decent thing under 0. Please answer with reason.

Thee is nothing to actually give you Internet through power lines.You need to subscribe to a regular broadband service to get he connection. Then your machines connect wired or wireless to a router connected to that. On way of using the wired connection is to use Lan over power adapter. You need one at each computer, then one at the router. They are not very fast, and will NOT work across different power phases. Far easier to just use the wireless of the router.

If you are asking what you should buy for ethernet over power (ie ethernet through your in home power outlets) I used The Belkin and the Netgear, both work well.
