Well going on the claim that I could hook up my security camera to it, I went and did just that. Only one problem, you can’t record anything. So unless I sit and watch it 24 hours a day it does no good. It doesn’t interface with any third party software so again we’re out of luck. Contacted the company and they confirmed it. My advice is don’t buy this if it’s for security.

I COULD NOT GET THE SLING BOX TO WORK FOR 3 DAYS AND COUNTLESS HOURS WITH TECH SUPPORT WE COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK THE TECH SAID IT WAS MY DVR BOX THAT IT WAS NOT WORKING WITH THE SLING BOX SO I SENT IT BACK. I DID NOT WANT TO BUT IT WAS USELESS TO KEEP IT. IF SOMEONE WANTED TO COME TO MY HOME AND INSTALL IT I WOULD REORDER IT. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

I regretted to buy this product. It only can connect one PC at a time. can not record program. Those features should not be difficult to implement. Another problem is if you want to use your PDA to watch TV occasionally, you have to buy another software.

I have been unable to get the slingbox to work becasue it’s located in a different room from my router and the ethernet brdiges that I have tired produces a very weak signal. I’ll likely be selling it on ebay

I found this product to be useless I returned it a week later
I was told to wait a week other wise i would have have returned it
after opening the box and reading the fine print
To use this product it must have its own cable box
this product is non mac compatible
this product has low resolution
this product will only work on one Pc at a time
and there is no customer service whatever
