i have the tuner can i watch premium channels,how do i hook it up to my cable box

The slingbox does not upgrade your service. If you were getting basic service before, you will continue to get basic service.

The slingbox allows you to watch tv on another PC which does not have a TV tuner as long as both PC's are hooked up to the internet. The other PC can be on the other side of the earth.
