It could be the sensor in your cablebox or the sensor isn’t over the eye on your cablebox. To locate the sensor on ur cablebox,use a flashlight to see better in the front display of the cablebox,then you’ll know exactly where to place the sensor. You may also need to reinstall the slingplayer software on ur Pc and make sure u pick the correct model cable box and remote control
i still now and again get the constant circle as if its thinking or trying to correct the connection but i resolved the majority of this issue by completely resetting my slingbox, patching it up and then re installing the app on the iPad. There have been two updates to the app since this post to address these issues as well.
I thought of that early on and was able to conclusively rule out that theory. It holds no water. It doesn’t explain the constant breaking up of video nor does it explain the cocnsistent circle popping up every few seconds as I’m experiencing still as of today. The software is flawed point blank. I go a lot infer viewing on my iPhone before the issues come up so between the iPad and the 2.whatever firmware they made us update to to make this thing work – there are software issues.

Dude I think your sensor that sits on you dvr has moved. I had same problem with mine and sure enough when i looked it had moved.
