Is there anyway? I want to watch live japanese tv. I cant install a sling box because im not there. Any alternatives?

You have to look for some IPTV based service that sells Japanese programs via IPTV. Of course, what you may get will be limited somewhat, for some programming might be copyright limited to Japan.
