Question about Slingbox because I am thinking about buying one.?

Can someone watch their shows on the TV set with the slingbox, and at the same time have someone in the other room watch their own shows at the same time on a laptop?

Or does the channel change on both sets when one person changes the channel?

Does anyone know anything about a slingbox?

Can you be watching something on the computer and on the tv that it's hooked to? Is there any downfalls about it? I just need more info on it.

A question about the slingbox?

I was looking at the slingbox but couldn't figure this out. Can you hook it up to another tv so that you can view all the channels on both tvs? Here is what I mean. I have comcast on my tv in my living room. I was told that I could use the sling box to get all those channels in my room tv. Is that true? Can I do it with the basic slingbox?
