I'm going to buy my first SB for to just watch antenna signals. The salesperson who helped me today tried to sell me everything. I don't think I need much. Question: What is the best version to just sling regular 'ol antenna signal?

Me and my roommate want to watch sporting events and stuff, but we don't have TVs in our rooms. What would be the best way to be able to watch TV on our PC's? We do have access to TV's that we could put a slingbox-type device on, however we don't want to be forced to watch the same thing that they're watching on the host TV or force the host TV to watch what we're watching. Any suggestions?
