does slingbox need a tv to function?
I am moving abroad and I will leave my slingbox, tivo and cable all hooked up at a friend's house. My questions is, do I also need to leave a tv for it? The idea would be for "my stuff" to be set up in their spare bedroom without affecting their own tv, cable and dvr. So, do I need to leave a tv also in their spare bedroom or would the slingbox, tivo and cable be enough for me to get my programs online?

The thing is, i want to be using the slingbox pro when i am on travel to control my cable box at home, but since my family is at home and they will want to watch tv too, so will there be a conflict? if i change channels, will they have to watch same channel or is it separate? does anyone know? thanks!!
