I use mine for IM, appointments, address book, alarm clock, flashlight, games (solitaire and bubble breaker), email, internet, tv (via slingbox), calculator, camera, mp3 player, and voice recorder.
It's amazing how handy my cell phone is.
Would you be lost without yours? I wouldn't but I think using my laptop to make calls would be a little cumbersome. =P

I want to have my computer playing a DVD and at the same time, to be able and watch and hear the content to my Nokia N95 Symbian 3rd edition phone.I know that there is a device for this called slingbox, but I wanted to know if it is possible to achieve this without buying extra hardware.

Bluetooth can transfer data at a lower rate than the data is coming from the DVD.
This makes it so you cannot do this.
*It might be possible if you wanted to do some really crazy sodering and risk "brick"ing your device.*
Sorry, but this is really not what Bluetooth was made for.
It was made for connecting to audio headsets and sending small pictures to your friends phone.

Has anybody done this? My question assumes sufficient bandwidth on both ends and a Netflix subscription. I've seen many posts from people who have used it with various DVRs but nobody who has done this.
Also, must the user leave his or her computer at home for Slingbox to work?

in theory it should work.and no you dont need any viewing device at home by your statement i guess you talking about a lap-top leaving it at home so no you just need the slingbox connected to the internet the output on the slingbox is a pass-thru port since you dont control the channels with it for your tv and your slingbox needs to be after your tivo so you can control the tivo with the IR leads- i dont have a tivo i have a computer based pvr and i dont have a android phone

first of all u cant use a slingbox to watch tv on ur fone. second, 3G is the fastest internet speed out there. the cingular 8525 and the tilt have 3G. also, verizon's samsung i760 has 3G. cingular is way faster however

thanks but I know you can watch tv on your cell phone, but some cell phone's have a "tv out" meaning you can then hook up you cell phone to a tv and watch what is on your phone on a tv. And I would like to find a phone that will do this and work with a slingbox. I did find 1 it's a Nokia n95 but this phone is way to expensive for me Like 0.00

Is the best. My co-worker currently uses it with Sprint on a Motorola Q 9c. It is great, the image quality is good and clear. Battery life is not the best, but it is something you should expect.
