What jailbreak iphone 3g program makes the iphone think it’s on wifi?
I just installed slingplayer for iPhone 3g which has been isolated to wifi hotspots. I understand there is a jailbreak function that makes the phone "think" its on wifi and will thus, allow you to stream tv via slingbox over 3g. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Slingbox connecting to Wi-Fi Network..Need Help?
I am brand new to the Sling Community and the WI FI World. I just got a 2wire wireless router from ATT> It is set up at the other end of the house, and connected via ethernet to my Mac. Now, my Main TV and my Slingbox will be at the other end of the house.
IT looks like I should buy the Ethernet bridge and just plug into the wall. However, I am also looking to boost my wireless access in the house, since it only reaches half way through. If I buy the ethernet bridge, I would also buy a booster or antenna...BUT, is there a device that I could use for my slingbox AND Boost my wi fi in the house? Does this make sense?
I was hoping I could find a 2nd Router that I could plug into the TV/SLING BOX that connects to my router in the back of the house.
I am guessing I will just need to go with option 1, but i wanted to explore my possibilities...thank you

How Do I Connect My Slingbox To My Buildings Wifi?
I am thinging about buying a slingbox. I use two forms of access to the net. One is my wireless card on my laptop, the other is the free wifi service my condo provides. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to use my condos highspeed wifi and my slingbox together. Any ideas?
