No, it does not run windows mobile. Only Windows Mobile Smartphoes have windows mobile.
Blackberry's run on their own OS.

well I don't know if you can use your slingbox with media center, I think slingbox has it's own software to view it. But yeah, you can use a sling box to watch your tv with your laptop. You'll just need a wireless internet connection.
