I’ve tried Roku, PS3, and the Western Digital one, and they were all ok but nothing great. I bought the Sony SMP-N100 box and it is by far the best one I have tried and decided to keep that. I got it on sale at Best Buy and it was only $10 more than the Roku and has way more features and options.
AppleTV is very limited.

What about the PopcornHour boxes?`There are both pure streamers and more dedicated media players in your list – and they have different uses, imho. Thanks for putting this together, though – good work
