why wont my wireless router work ?
Question by polly: why wont my wireless router work ?
my modem will not configure with my linksys wireless router, i have tried everything i can to make it work but to no avail,could it be that my modem is too old ? i have an old ntl modem that is about 7 yeard old, all this is such a headache all for a slingbox connection !!!!!

You may have to hook the modem directly to your computer and change it to bridge mode, then connect your router back up.

after you connect the router to the modem, power cycle the modem. turn power off for a minute and then turn back on. wait for the lights to come back up and see if you can log into the router’s admin page and enable wireless and see if you have an internet connection.
