Question by malarke: wii vs. location free player?
heres the deal, im trying to figure out what I want for my birthaday, and usually I only get to spend around 0.
So, im asking everyone at yahoo what I should get.
First off, I thought the Wii would be a great idea, because I like the concept of a "wiimote" and the games (And Im a big Zelda fan).
Second, the LocationFree Player.
Apparently its like a slingbox, and I love the idea of watching TV on the go.

I currently own a Xbox 1 (haha which I definetly need to upgrade) and a PSP.

So I figure, Wii + Zelda: Twilight Princess
vs.
LocationFree Player + extra -100.

Thanks for your support everyone.
(If you have any sugestions, please tell me.)

  1. I’ve got both, and I gotta say I use the Wii way more than the Location Free Player. First of all the Location Free Player not super easy to setup, I’ve still only got it working from with in my own house network. Openning it up to connection from when I’m away from home is probably gonna take more work. When I am home, it’s too frustrating to channel surf on cause it takes so long to change channel, so I usually go straight to a real tv.

The Wii is awesome. It takes gaming to a whole new level. The remote really gets you involved in the game instead of just sitting and letting your thumbs do the talking.

The only thing is………it’s really hard to find a Wii. So good luck hunting for one.
