It's been 3 years since I last had access to a Chicago Slingbox, and I'm hoping anybody out there in the Chicago area is reading this and is willing to help out. What I'm looking for is a Chicago Slingbox connected to a Slingbox 500 or 350. I don't mind what type of provider it is, though I would like either a DirecTV or Comcast setup. I see all these different spammers making worthless posts, and all of the usernames that I see spamming this portion of the forum come from Afghanistan. I think whoever this person is that's coming up with these usernames is just spamming the forum just to piss us off. This person not only needs to be banned, but he needs his internet access revoked. Hi folks, I'm currently searching for anyone that can provide me with access to Chicago local through a Slingbox PRO-HD, with speeds up to 3mb or higher. I'm also looking for access to Comcast SportsNet Chicago for Bulls and White Sox games. I would gladly appreciate it if anybody can help.

Been a number of months now and I still can't find anyone that can provide me a Chicago setup in HD. I don't mind if it's a DirecTV or Comcast setup, I just hope anyone out there in The Windy City that has a Slingbox will be able to provide me access at some point.

I have a feeling they must be selling them and perhaps coming up with a scam service by ripping people off just to get money. Of course, there are some creeps out there who do that kind of crap.

I'm currently looking for any Time Warner Cable customers out there that can provide me with an online account and password so that I can get access to Time Warner Cable SportsNet online (http://www.twcsportsnet.com). Folks, I'm currently involved in a personal dispute with Comcast over availabilty of HD games for MLB Extra Innings. I've talked with every one of the Comcast representatives through the phone and online, and they were telling me different things. Some of them were telling me that I can't get the HD games at all, other were telling me that Comcast only carries a select number of games in HD. I also got responses stating that the games are in HD on what appear to be SD only channels. So I'm asking if anyone with good upload can provide me free access to HD games either through a DirecTV or FiOS setup, or whichever provider offers all or some of the HD broadcasts. I'm not asking for an exchange, I just want free access until the end of the season. If you can help, please send me a PM. Thanks!!!

Hi folks, I took notice that when I go to Setup Assistance on my SlingPlayer software, it won't load properly. Then I gave the folks at SlingMedia a call and they have informed me that the reason for that issue is because of a server problem. They told me that they'll fix the issue as soon as possible, but sadly, they don't have a timeframe for when the issue will be fixed. It is also recommended that you do not reset your Slingbox until the issue gets fixed, Because I pressed the reset button on my Slingbox, and because of the server problems with SlingMedia, I can't re-configure it. This must be a drag for people who own a Slingbox (like myself). Hopefully the problem will be fixed very soon.

With my house falling victim to flooding and my Slingboxes being relocated for the time being, I would like to have temporary access to at least one or perhaps a couple of Slingbox Setups from the USA. Although I'd prefer HD setups, I can also accept offers for some Standard-Def setups. It doesn't really matter. Speed must be around 2000kbps or higher with an upload speed of 5mb or above. I definitely will not any offers for a Slingbox that's around, say 750kbps. Also, I'm looking for a couple of people that have access to NFL Sunday Ticket (for NY Jets Games), MLB Extra Innings (for Pittsburgh Pirates games), and NHL Center Ice (for Pittsburgh Penguins games). This is ridiculous. I'm getting very frustrated and somebody has to help.

I'm also looking for somebody that has Root Sports Pittsburgh or the NHL Network so that I can watch some Pittsburgh Penguins pre-season games.

I do hope somebody can help. I've been without Cable TV access for about a week and I really need access to the MLB, NHL, and NFL Packages so that I can follow my teams. A DirecTV satellite setup would be nice.

Here's the thing. I've been a Slingbox owner for 4 years now, and just because you give your finder ID and password to somebody you don't know doesn't mean your whole internet will be hacked, the only thing this person would have access to is your Slingbox and your Cable or Satellite box. Besides, opening your port just allows you to watch your Slingbox wherever you go, and it absolutely has nothing to do with your network being hacked. It's still okay to share your Slingbox with other people, that's what this forum is for. But if you do suspect something suspicious from your Cable/Satellite box (like somebody ordering pay-per-view movies without your consent for example), just change your password, that's what I'd do. I hope this answers your question!

Well hopefully I can get access to a HD Slingbox from Washington, D.C. because I have a friend who lives there. I'm also hoping I can get access to Slingbox setups from the other cities listed, including Los Angeles.
