New browser plug-ins (1.5.12.724) have degraded the video image.

I received notification that the plug-ins for both Google Chrome 22 and IE 9 on my Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit computer needed to be updated. After doing so, the video image is not as sharp as before. Lines are jagged, text is jagged and somewhat fuzzier, etc.
