Hello, i'm interested about the Portuguese Package as i'm a TV Enthusiastic and this is the only country i do not receive with my setup at home (i live in Belgium, i have motorized dish but it can't go throught 30°W, very hard to receive without cutting of Sky UK or eastern feeds) I'm not gonna use it a lot therefore i'm not into a dedicaced box in order to reduce fare. You have to get the information of SOmeone else Slingbox who wants to share, most of them looks for something in exhange, some just some money to rent their signal to anybody (including people who don't own a slingbox). Is that a bit clearer?

Hi Richie, About your technical question, the answer is simple, you just don't put it remotable while you watch then nobody can change channel while you watch TV.

Soo if you want to pay for USTV you have only Slingplayer installed on your computer, you don't need anything else. If you want to install yourself a slingbox, is to put in your family or friend's home in the USA. That's why people rent a slingbox to people who wants to share. About legality well, there's no rules in the code that said it's not allowed to. Soo the Slingplayer is stand alone of the slingbox, you can use it without owning a slingbox.

You need a Slingbox in your home install and then the software or a slingcatcher in your other home

Hello, This message is only to tell everyone that i'm going on 1st Nov. to 1.5Mbps Upload with my Slingbox. The quality will be much better and watchable obviously ! This is on a Slingbox Classic that runs since years and hooked to Analogue Cable (Waiting to get a SD Receiver by my operator).
