I have a Slingbox 350 hosting Shaw Direct Canadian satellite service and would like to trade for Sky UK for a short time (1-2 months). I am in the US but am going through an address broker in Canada for the service. Looking for equivalent package or fairly close to it on Sky UK. Adjusting my packages or ordering PPV for you is not an option as I would have to contact my account broker and they would have to contact Shaw and my broker is very picky about it. I am looking for Slingboxes from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Cable and satellite packages are preferred, mandatory if you're exchanging a US Slingbox. Crap. Using the NeoTV flash interface was how I was able to Slingbox under Linux. At this point, I can suggest an Android TV box. Yes, you'd have to buy the $15 app; but you also have to buy the $15 app to use the Roku app as well.

When I attempt to watch TV through my slingbox pro hd the screen goes black after about two minutes. It usually takes about a minute or a minute and a half to switch from standard definition to HD. Once it does that it plays for about 30

Better check this one also "jccc", nothing but strange problems with him.. he got like 4 boxes form everywhere.. first promising the best one (a fios box), and then saying he can't pay it anymore. so he gave me a box from UK sky instead with very bad quality. but i demanded american tv if he wanted an exchange with me, and he gave me 2 boxes from USA (Comcast and Directv).. both different cable company's. and both more not working then working with very bad quality.. And the Fios box one had a password of "JasonConwill" So better watch out for him, i think this is the same person with another profile.

Just had the misfortune of trading with someone and then that person trading my Slingbox details with someone else, without my permission. Also another person selling passwords to my box! Beware! If you have recently traded with someone whose English is very poor, and you live in Los Angeles or in Taiwan (and have just changed your password) - email me. This person has probably traded me your password - even though I've never met you!

Since one week exactly, a user named nicedc has registered to the website and had the plan to collect as much of slingboxes without any authorisation of other peoples to sell them to people who don't have one. I warn everybody here, if you get email from this user from @123.com a w****16@gmail.com and a @189.cn. Do not reply ! It's probably him (almost sure) (his poor english (that came out from Google Translate) can give you a clue). I also wary everybody to never send out before get sure you're speaking to a honest user who can help you for the share . Also, as this is now fixed, we hope to never get another case like that in the future !
